Ben, a participant being supported by Care Plus Group Employability Services, recently achieved success in securing a temporary paid position at Advantage Finance as a Data Logging Assistant.

From the outset, Ben showed enthusiasm for roles that involved structure, detail, and data management. His proactive approach and commitment to developing his skills were evident during his time as an Intern with the Project Search-supported internship programme, where he gained valuable experience at the Fishing Heritage Centre. During his internship, Ben created an Excel spreadsheet archive for the Fishing Times newspaper, demonstrating both technical ability and a keen eye for accuracy.

This experience laid the foundation for his new role, where Ben has quickly thrived. His strong work ethic and proven skills in data handling have made him an asset to Advantage Finance.

Ben’s journey highlights how tailored support and practical placements can help individuals showcase their strengths and transition successfully into paid employment.

His achievement is a testament to his dedication and the positive impact of Care Plus Group Employability Services in helping participants reach their career goals.
