Care Plus Group provide a range of day support services designed for older people who have a disability due to physical or mental frailty or have other care needs.

Our Day support services are offered at The Curzon Centre in Cleethorpes and are available Monday-Friday. Charges may apply depending on financial assessment (please call Single Point of Access on 01472 256256) or individuals can access as a private client (charges apply). A two course cooked lunch is available.

Transport to and from the day services may be available, subject to eligibility criteria and availability.

Our Day Support Services helps you to keep active, meet other people and give carers a break.  Access to these services may only be needed for a short while, for example to regain confidence after a fall or spell in hospital, or it may be something you want to keep doing as part of your social activity.

• Help people to maintain their independence, by helping them to care for themselves, carry out tasks of daily living and maintain and improve personal skills
• Provide social contact and stimulation; reducing isolation and loneliness
• Offer meaningful activities which provide mental and physical stimulation
• Provide carers with an opportunity to have their own space and time, by offering relief from the stress of caring, support during any health problems, and time for themselves.
• Support vulnerable elderly people with complex needs living in the community
• Assisting with recovery and rehabilitation after an illness or accident
• Provide services such as hairdressing
• Promote good health and nutrition
• Provide opportunities for older people to contribute as well as receive

Being able to leave your home regularly for a few hours, and enjoy the company of others while getting involved in a range of social and learning activities is very important to both mental and emotional wellbeing.

Day services for older people are still available to people who live in Immingham, transport can be provided from Immingham to The Curzon Centre in Cleethorpes.

Is there a charge?

You may be eligible for funding for our day services. You will need to be assessed for eligibility via the Single Point of Access on 01472 256256. Depending on the outcome of this assessment you may be charged for accessing the service.

You can also access the service independently as a private client (charges apply). Charges are made for full day support services, for lunch and for transport where available/ required. Part day support can be arranged in special circumstances.
