Dementia Awareness Programme

Raising awareness of the support available for people living with dementia

Picture by DaveMoss.com Cancer Collaborative community volunteers at The Curzon Centre for Rachel Buckley.

We work within North East Lincolnshire providing information and a signposting service to relevant local services, which support the needs of those individuals with Dementia and to their family/carers.

Using the cancer collaborative tried and tested method of public awareness, by having a stall at local public events and hand out leaflets to signpost members of the public to their GP, the Alzheimer’s Society, Admiral Nurses, Friendship at Home, Memory Cafes etc.
