Sandie was given the opportunity to develop her career and knowledge with Care Pus Group by enrolling on an Employability Apprenticeship delivered by JC Training and Consultancy.

Sandie had been working as an Employability Support Officer for a year but wanted to develop her skills and knowledge further in order to provide the best support she could for her participants.

Sandie says:
“I started the Employability Practitioner apprenticeship in October 2022, and I am really enjoying it so far! I am learning a lot about different challenges people face daily other than employability barriers, as well as a lot about myself along the way too. I am undertaking this apprenticeship in order to gain a better understanding of people’s everyday struggles, so it will enable me to do my job better, by being supportive in a more holistic approach.”

Annette Dray, Employability Support Officer added:
“Sandie recognised there was an opportunity to develop her skills, knowledge and understanding.  She undertook her apprenticeship in order to give the best support she can.  Sandie has shown that continuous professional development is essential to provide the right support in an ever-changing environment.”
