I have worked in the NHS since 1994 in clinical and non-clinical roles, clinically I have worked as a Podiatrist and a Nurse. I have also worked as a Project manager for the local PCTs to deliver the National Agenda for Change Project and a HR manager. I have been in post as the Operational Manager – Therapies for Care Plus Group since September 2022.

I believe I have always been a strong advocate for patients and their right to quality care and I am passionate about supporting staff to develop and reach their career goals.

Previously I have been a union representative and therefore have experience of representing staff, my role in CPG gives me the opportunity to work across a variety of organisation and many different teams. As Staff Governor I will commit to representing staff and being their advocate.
