Celebrating an Art exhibition by local artist Alan Hopkins, who is supported by our fantastic Carers Wellbeing Team.

Sharing some good news about one of our service users, Cleethorpes Library is hosting a wonderful art exhibition this week by local artist Alan Hopkins, who is supported by our fantastic Carers Wellbeing Team.

Alan recently held a meet‑and‑greet, and it was a real pleasure to see the exhibition coming together while spending time with Alan, his supporters, and, of course, his brother Malcolm, who is always by his side. Alan’s drawings and paintings are beautifully displayed, and it was lovely to see members of the public enjoying the exhibition and chatting with him about his creative process.

Proudly self‑taught, Alan explains that he paints from memory and is inspired by “anything that takes his fancy.” This instinctive, personal approach shines through in his work and makes it incredibly hard to pick a favourite piece. The exhibition was on display at Cleethorpes Library.

Alan has been supported throughout by Jordan and Steve from Keyring, alongside Nicola from the Carers Wellbeing Team (CLDT). A huge thank you also goes to Anna and the team at Cleethorpes Library for helping to make the exhibition such a success.
