Care Plus Group Appoints New Digital Transformation Lead

Care Plus Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Kris Weavill to the newly created role of Digital Transformation Programme Lead.

This strategic position will provide expert leadership and programme management to drive digital transformation across Care Plus Group, ensuring technology enhances services and supports the needs of our workforce and communities.

Kris brings over a decade of experience in leading digital change within healthcare. Beginning his career as an A&E receptionist at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital 11 years ago, Kris has worked across urgent care, community services, diagnostics, radiology, therapies and most recently at Humber & North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. His focus has always been on human-centred technology, service improvement, and making digital systems work for people – not the other way around.

Lisa Revell, Chief Executive of Care Plus Group, commented:
“I am thrilled to welcome Kris as the newest member of our senior team. His appointment as Digital Transformation Programme Lead marks an exciting step forward in our journey to innovate and improve, and supports the NHS Long Term Plan’s aim to move from analogue to digital. Kris brings a wealth of expertise in digital innovation, transformation, and quality improvement, which will help us support our employees, enhance services, and deliver exceptional outcomes for the people and communities we serve.”

Kris added:
“Joining Care Plus Group is an incredible opportunity to help shape the future of neighbourhood healthcare through digital innovation. I believe technology should empower people, not overwhelm them, and I’m passionate about creating solutions that make services more accessible, efficient, and human-centred. What excites me most is the openness and enthusiasm I’ve already seen across the organisation – everyone is ready to embrace change. I can’t wait to get stuck in and see what we can deliver together.”
