Celebrating Our Volunteers: A Relaunch of the Care Plus Group Volunteer Programme
We’re delighted to share that we have officially relaunched our Care Plus Group Volunteer Programme, marking an exciting new chapter for volunteering across our organisation.
The relaunch was celebrated at a recent event, bringing together colleagues and volunteers to recognise the incredible contribution our volunteers make every day. Their time, dedication and compassion play a vital role in supporting our services and making a difference to the people and communities we serve.
Leading this work is Sharon Stead, Operations Manager -Peoples Development and Programme Lead for volunteering and placements at Care Plus Group. Sharon has carried out a comprehensive review of our existing volunteer offer, taking the opportunity to build on what works well while introducing improvements to better support both our volunteers and our teams.
As part of this work, the programme has been refreshed and strengthened, with a renewed focus on creating meaningful, rewarding experiences for volunteers of all ages. This includes ensuring that volunteering opportunities are accessible, well-supported and aligned with the values that define Care Plus Group.

The refreshed programme also aims to enhance how we recognise and celebrate our volunteers, while making it easier for new people to get involved and contribute their skills, time and experience.
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do, and this relaunch reflects our commitment to investing in a programme that supports them to thrive and continue making a positive impact across our services.
