Samantha stands proud doing what she loves.

Sam first met Employability Services when she applied for a job vacancy they were recruiting for on behalf of one of their many partners; EMC Services as Domestic Assistant. Tracy Chaplin, Employability Programme Coordinator, was impressed with Sam’s depth of knowledge and experience within the role and did not hesitate to put her forward for the final interviews.

Sam was ultimately successful and has settled in really well with the rest of the team.

Employability Services have supported EMC Services with recruitment of many Domestic Assistants in recent years, through their Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) Initiative. This provides an opportunity for individuals to build skills, experience and confidence.

Sam wanted to say “how lovely it is to get up in a morning and go to a job (she) enjoys”.

Tracy Chaplin added, “what a pleasure it has been to work with someone so enthusiastic about taking on a new role, well done Sam!”
