Lisa qualified as a nurse at Hull University in 1996, she worked at Grimsby Hospital until 1999 when she moved to London. During her time in London, Lisa worked in both The Royal Free and Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals.  She undertook several roles including clinical nurse specialist and departmental manager when she led on the developmental of primary care satellite services for haematological disorders.

Lisa returned to Grimsby in 2004 and took up the role of team leader for a primary health care team managing variety of community nursing disciplines and later became Assistant Director of Clinical Services.

Previously the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Nurse of Care Plus Group Lisa holds various qualifications including Diploma in Haematological disorders, Degree in Health and Social Care, Masters in Leadership and is currently near completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Directorship.

Lisa has undertaken various senior roles within NE Lincolnshire including a key part in the formation of Care Plus Group in 2011 and within the local Health Care Partnership (HCP) including Deputy Clinical Director of the HCP.

She has been part of the NHS Clinical Leaders network, and National Palliative Care Council and recently worked with NHS England on the development of national Community Operational Reporting standards.

In her spare time, Lisa loves spending time with her family, including her children and furbabies.

She loves a good book, a crime movie and is partial to a bar of marvellous creation.
